Au naturel – green jackets are naturally stylish

The old German word “gruoen” means to grow, sprout, or thrive. That’s no surprise, as green is the color of nature. But it isn’t only grasses, flowers and shrubs that are green – there are also lots of amazing animals in this color. Stylight has listed four animals below that would probably just love your new green jacket.

1. Frog

A walk in the rain doesn’t necessarily have to be unpleasant. Enjoy the peace and fresh greenery of the park – and release your inner child by jumping into a puddle or two.
The look: Wear a cheerful green jacket – preferably a hooded rain jacket – on top of a cute polka-dot dress. Complete the look with a pair of black tights and bright yellow rain boots. Not even the rain can stop you now.

2. Grasshopper

If you’re going to a concert by your favorite band, you’ll probably be bouncing around like a grasshopper. And since you’re a fashionista, a stylish outfit is a must for the occasion.
The look: Team up a pair of black skinny pants with a white oversized shirt. Complete the look with a pair of glossy chelsea boots and a green leather jacket. All you need now is a pair of large black earrings and you’re ready to go!

3. Rose chafer

Glitter and sparkles are great for a night out on the town. You’ll feel like a shimmery rose chafer on a petal when you’re cruising to the next party in a limousine.
The look: Combine a pair of black leather shorts with golden high-heel sandals and a black silk top. Cover up with your new green jacket – a metallic green bomber jacket. Accessorize with a golden clutch, a large cocktail ring on your finger and beautiful smokey eye make-up to dance the night away.

4. Greenfinch

You can’t fluff up your feathers like a cute little greenfinch on those chilly spring days, but you can slip into a warm green jacket – a quilted design is always a great option.
The look: Wear a denim skirt and a simple turtle neck sweater for a relaxing day with the family. A pair of opaque tights and brogue shoes complete the look.

Magenta is the complementary color for green. Simply wear magenta-colored accessories with your green jacket and you can’t go wrong!

Green jackets look bright and breezy – not just in the middle of nature.
