Now you’ll really blossom: leggings with floral pattern
Whether it’s a hair accessory, a jewelry design, a decoration on the coffee table – or even a print on our clothing: flowers are beautiful. Always! Here’s everything you need to know about the different varieties and ways you can wear leggings with floral pattern:
1. Thank you for the flowers!
You can of course thank the international designers who have made the floral pattern presentable. Floral patterns are available as prints, woven into the fabric or added as appliqués. Whether you stick to small flowers, go for abstract wild flowers or choose large-scale prints is up to you. Even the styling is entirely up to you– you can adorn yourself with flowers from head to toe if you’d like, or just a few here and there.
2. A sea of flowers
Dare to wear floral prints all over: combine leggings with floral pattern with tops and t-shirts that are also decorated with flowers. But be careful: the look will only work if the patterns are stylistically similar and the colors either complement each other or form a sharp contrast. Otherwise the outfit will start to look overcrowded – as if you got dressed in the dark that morning. A full meadow of flowers is also more of a free time look than sensible office wear.
3. Going solo
Leggings with floral pattern are more suited to day to day wear if the rest of the outfit subtly takes a backseat to the leggings. To make this look work, pick one of the colors from the floral pattern for your plain tank top. The right shoes will be just as subtle in nude or cream tones. High heels are especially lovely. It’s best to steer clear of eye-catching accessories with this outfit and let the flowers do the talking.
4. Flowers for the home
You don’t always have to dress like a slob just because you’re not leaving the house: leggings with floral pattern are a great alternative to boring pajama bottoms. The joyful prints put you in a good mood as soon as you get up. And because leggings sit so lovely and snuggly against your skin, they warm you up on cold days more than wider pants.
The floral look is very feminine. You can emphasize your femininity even more with a plain headband or scarf in one of the colors in the floral pattern. Rolled up, scarves make excellent headbands. Add a large pair of sunglasses and you’re done!
