All my lazy ladies, put their hand up! Your go-to ‘I’m studying’ hair-do has become one of the biggest hair trends. The humble, good-old ponytail folded itself over and became the centre of attention with this one little adjustment. This look has been featured on runways everywhere and had its moment of fame during the Chanel Fall 2017 fashion show.

It’s so easy! All you have to do is gather your hair in a low pony and then when you get to the last twist of your hair tie, as you’re pulling your hair through, stop half-way through. Seriously. It’s that easy. So if you usually need an elastic and some bobby pins to successfully ponytail your hair, you’ll need just that for the half-pony. You can even use a little dry shampoo for extra volume!

So the next time you’re in a rush to get out the house and you’re tempted to throw your hair in a messy bun, don’t. This style probably takes less time to achieve than the “perfect” messy bun does. It’s also much trendier and appears more put-together. What’s there not to love about that?!
