So Glitter Brows Are The Latest WTF Beauty Trend

First there was the glitter beard, now there’s glitter ‘brows. Whatever will be next. The latest beauty craze to hit the red carpet from the runway is a set of super glittery glitter brows. From catwalks across the world, it’s time to dust your ’lid locks with whatever luminescent particles you can get a hold of. Or so says the trend.

Val Garland’s recent under-eyebrow look from Giambattista Valli FW16 is the gateway glitter brow, perfect for first-timers, where Chanel’s FW12 sequin/glitter strips are above-eye adornments for the brave. Lady Gaga’s been glitter brows’ off-catwalk advocate since ’11, experimenting with an array of glitter and crystals, and supermodels including Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Aldridge, who sported golden iterations at 2016’s Met Gala.

At first we hated this trend. But the more we thought about it, the more we warmed to the idea. Because glitter eyebrows have just as much right to be regarded as cool as pencil-thin brows were in the 1920s. Guess this means it’s time to grab some face glue and go nuts.
