Natural skincare tips for glowy skin
When it comes to skincare, more of us are becoming interested in using natural, organic products and that makes total sense! For those of you who tend to avoid skincare all together because it seems complicated, don’t! You don’t want to look back one day and realize that you could have been doing your skin some good by using preventative products and techniques.
The glowy/dewy look has been very popular lately. It’s no shocker that beauty lovers have been enjoying that look because seriously, it’s such an easy way to make yourself look healthy, glowy and overall much happier. Your skin will thank you for giving it the goodness it deserves!
- Jojoba oil: This lovely oil is non-comedogenic, which means it won’t block your pores. It’s super moisturizing and does a great job t removing stubborn makeup. Its anti-inflammatory properties will help clear up your skin, so say hello to glow and goodbye to red spots.
- Raw honey: Raw honey has wonderful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It cleanses the skin without stripping it, so when you’re done remove your makeup, take a teaspoon of raw honey and massage it onto your skin. Let it sit for 10 minutes and rinse it!
- Rose water: One of nature’s best skincare powerhouses is rose water. It helps to hydrate and rejuvenate your skin while also refreshing your makeup. Keep a little bottle of it in your purse and in your car for on-the-go moisture.
- Turmeric: Turmeric is wonderful at getting rid of dead skin and hyperpigmentation to reveal your skin’s natural glow. You can mix it with some yogurt and honey and apply it on your face like a mask. It also does a great job at regulating oily skin.
- Green Tea: Look no further than green tea if you struggle with inflammation from rosacea. It also helps prevent signs of premature ageing like sagging and wrinkles. Steep green tea, let it cool and apply it on your face with a cotton pad. You can also spray it on your skin like you do rose water.
- Aloe vera: Those red spots left over from acne will no longer see the light of day. Apply a little bit of aloe vera to speed up healing and lessen scarring. Because Aloe includes salicylic acid, it’ll help prevent pimples around that spot.
- Oatmeal: Nature’s exfoliator. We love oatmeal to treat itchy, dry skin and even eczema. Mix it up with one tablespoon of honey and chill in the fridge for an hour. Smooth all over your face and watch yourself glow for days!
