The fashion legacy of Gianni Versace

January saw the much-anticipated release of the latest series of American Crime Story, which this season documents the final days and assassination of legendary fashion designer Gianni Versace.

The mega cast includes Penelope Cruz and Ricky Martin, which promises big things. So, before you watch, get the lowdown on Gianni’s fashion history, from his inspiration and muses to the Versace of 2019 – which is still going strong with his (equally fabulous) sister Donatella Versace at the helm.

Versace is a brand that’s daring, sexy and glamorous. Created to make every woman feel like a supermodel, it’s long been a favourite of the likes of Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. Think rhinestones and revealing necklines, the Versace woman does not go unnoticed.
