‘Gossip Girl’ Ended Five Years Ago And We Still Want To Dress Like Blair And Serena
If you’d have told us five years ago that we’d still want to dress like Blair and Serena as much as we do now, we’d have slapped the Henri Bendel bag right out of your hand. But sigh, it is the truth. To this day, some five years on since the Gossip Girl finale aired, we find ourselves still swooning over some outfit that Blair wore to the ballet or black tie gala; still frothing over some effortlessly cool ensemble that Serena swanned around in. And you know what? We’re bloody owning it. Because as overly preppy (*cough* Blair) or a tad showy (ahem, Serena) some of their looks might have been, let’s face it; this is precisely why we love them.
The besties/occasional frenemies had some cracking wardrobes to match their personalities – Blair, the original Queen B; Serena, the poppy bohemian – so we’re taking a moment to reflect over the winners… By binge watching all six seasons. You know; just to make sure we haven’t forgotten any important ones.
