Whether you like dressing your denim up or down, we’re writing an ode to those regular everyday jeans and taking you through all the classic ways to wear them.

With A Tee

What could be more American than a simple t-shirt and jeans? Ever since Marlon Brando made white tees into a sexified style statement, they’ve been popping up over and over again. A fitted crew-neck in white or grey looks sharp tucked into a faded pair of regular-fit blue jeans. Top this off-duty look with lace-up boots or leather sandals and finish with another classic: a backpack.

The Rockstar Way

Do as the Ramones did and inject some edge into your standard straight leg jeans. We suggest taking a cropped worn-in, tank top or ribbed sleeveless shirt and wearing it with your oldest, holiest jeans. Top off your rocker look with the quintessential jacket–a leather moto–and add some crisp white kicks.

Denim on Denim

Going all denim is one of our favorite jeantastic looks. A light blue chambray shirt is a great way to infuse some blue into a pair of bright white jeans. If you want to go the Canadian tux route, make sure you vary the blue washes so that your top and bottom stand out on their own. Denim on denim is a great canvas for eye-popping accessories like a statement necklace, neon belt or bright colored sandals.

Work A High Heel

The versatility of a simple pair of jeans is never lost on us. You can keep them casual using tees and sweaters with sneakers or dress them up with the easy addition of a towering heel. Do Casual Friday the denim way by tucking in a silk button down with a pair of heeled sandals or go ultra sexy in a form-fitting top, extra tight jeans and a sky high stiletto.

Jeans are hands down the most effortless and versatile item you can have in your wardrobe, and there’s no better way to dress as an ode to this staple than by wearing them the classic way.
