These were the top emerging fashion brands of 2020
Twenty-twenty, what a time to be alive. While we’re all looking forward to the day that the past 12 months are a distant, ‘did that really happen?’ memory, there are a few noteworthy exceptions to an otherwise Murphy’s Law-ridden year. Despite everything, there were four emerging fashion brands that managed to cut through the unfortunate clutter of the year to produce some exceptionally sleek designs.

Peter Do
Born in Biên Hòa, Vietnam, Peter Do went on to study fashion design at the world-renowned Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. The designer completed stints at Céline and Derek Lam before starting his eponymous label with a group of friends in 2018. A favorite among A-list celebrities like Zendaya and Solange, Stylight reported 155% more clicks for the label in 2020 compared to 2019.

Co-founded by Amélie Brick and Lauren Nouchi, the vegan label has ascended to the ranks of outerwear royalty thanks to its colorful collection of faux furs and vegan leathers. On Stylight, clicks on Apparis products increased by over 1000% compared to 2019.
